Lenovo's latest addition to the Vibe family boasts LTE capability and a 5.5in full HD (1,920 x 1080-pixels) screen.
The Vibe Z is only 7.9mm thin and light too, weighing just 147g, making it one of the most attractive smartphone Lenovo has released to date.
Underneath the surface, the smartphone has a Snapdragon 800 quad-core 2.2GHz processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. However, it has no expansion slot for memory cards.
For taking photos and recording videos, it has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front.
According to Lenovo, the embedded 3,000mAh battery is rated to last up to 27 days on standby and up to 33 hours for talk time.
It does not come preloaded with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat but runs on 4.3 Jelly Bean which is fairy new.
The Vibe Z will be available nationwide exclusively from Celcom Axiata Bhd from March 15 through its mPro or mPro Plus plan for as low as RM988 with a 24-month contract. The telco is also having an exclusive customer launch in Blue Cube, Sunway Iconic where the first 30 customers will be able to get the device for as low as RM688.
The Vibe Z will be available from all Lenovo Smartphone Retail partners starting April 15 for RM RM1,799. In the meanwhile, you can check out Lenovo's Vibe X which it launched in January.
